Live-edge Birch Table with Walnut Base

Paul and Kim just delivered our gorgeous new table personally to us. We are thrilled with it. They are such artists, that they would not even trust a delivery service to transport their masterpiece so they drove over 6 hours to do the final set up. The quality of the workmanship is extraordinary! Paul designed an ingenious walnut base that allows for optimal seating for everyone. Even the base of the table that is covered by the table top and will never be seen, is show worthy on its own. The unique engineering allows the table to expand and contract without damaging the live edge table top. The birch table top with walnut inlays is the most beautiful table I have ever seen. The grain is ethereal. It is our most prized possession. , and we look forward to many years of using it. Paul and Kim are real artists, with the highest degree of integrity. I'm sure that in the future a Fuelling table will be a valuable collectors item. However, I would never part with it.

Paul and Kim Fuelling are incredible woodworkers. We recently built a mountain-top home and wanted a mixture of modern, industrial, and rustic for our furniture and decor. They built a custom walnut slab modern king bed with two cantilevered side cabinets which is truly awesome. Other handcrafted designed pieces include a burled bench which wraps around a foyer corner, a wooden "NC flag" painting which covers a TV in a stone fireplace and cranks up and down via a pulley system, and a weathered wood barn door in the kitchen.

They are highly experienced in woodworking design and creation. Having very imaginative minds and superb woodworking skills, Paul and Kim build ultra high quality one-of-a-kind pieces. We are extremely pleased with every item they have built. They are exceptional artisans!

Kim and Paul Fuelling are a brilliant team. Their quote was accurate and precise yet they went above and beyond my expectations in skill and craftsmanship. Their attention to detail and sense of style was everything I was looking for and they really made my project into a piece of functioning art. I have yet to drive a mile without hoots, hollers, and lots of inquiries to this stunner. Everything down to Kim's hand painted floor to the unbelievable heart pine countertops with driftwood details and hand made window hardware was crafted to perfection. The way they handled color, space and patterns make the smallest details never go unnoticed. I love how they weren't scared to tackle such a strange project! They were a pleasure to work with and I look forward to future projects with them!
